An Unexpected Swim in the Grand Canal
Last night there was an opening party for the "Portable Classic" exhibition at the Prada Foundation in Ca' Corner on the Grand Canal. As the VIP guests arrived at about 7pm, something caused the floating platform in front of the palazzo to suddenly lean at an alarming angle causing the gangway to slide off and into the water along with all the people on it. Rather than cocktails, they received an unwelcome taste of seawater.
